3. We will use our best reasonable endeavours to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. We will not be liable for, nor will you be eligible to any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.

4. Not honour any purchase, on condition that we refund the purchaser in full for any purchase, for any reason whatsoever. This situation is obviously undesirable but may be necessary where the website contains patent errors or price irregularities.

5. Prices are subject to change without notice and quotes supplied are not binding. Fluctuating exchange rates, particularly for electronic goods but not limited to them, mean that prices can change quickly. Pricing is indicative unless indicated otherwise.

6. All our rights are and remain reserved in any and every correspondence that we enter into between ourselves and our customers, whether explicitly stated in each correspondence or not.

Product availability

All special offers, including but not limited to Black Friday, are strictly while stocks last and we are under no obligation to honour a purchase if no stock is available after expiry of the offer.

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. We will despatch stock as rapidly as possibly to ensure best service to our customers, but we cannot be held liable for any product not being available and use of this site constitutes your consent to indemnify The Whiteboard Shop from any and all liability, howsoever arising, and from direct or consequential damages due to the unavailability or unsuitability of any product.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously, however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence The Whiteboard Shop will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule or the offer of a full refund, except in the case of custom products where no refund is applicable.

On the very odd occasion when an order cannot be despatched timeously for whatever reason, Whiteboard Shop cannot be held liable for any damages as stated in the preceeding paragraph. However, in such an unlikely event, we undertake to refund you and cancel your order immediately if you elect to not proceed with the order, except as follows in relation to custom products.

Custom products and printing

Any custom board that is required to be manufactured for a customer, and/or to specific size instructions provided by a customer, and/or any board that is printed on at the instruction of a customer, cannot be returned to us and the purchase price cannot be refunded to you under any circumstances once an order has been placed and paid for.

This includes whiteboards, chalk boards, glassboards or any other custom made and/or custom size and/or printed board. Custom boards also include all sizes, custom or standard size, of the whiteboard wall panels, with or without printing.

A custom size or printed board cannot be sold by us to any third party in the future and materials for these products is ordered and/or produced and/or cut and/or manufactured for the order, so any change of requirement of the customer, and/or error in the required size provided to us by the customer, and/or any error in the required printing on the board supplied to us by the customer, is and remains a customer error and we shall not rectify it at our cost nor accept return of the board or refund the customer under any circumstances. 

Due to the nature of custom manufacturing and printing, we can only give an indicative guideline on how long it will take before the board is completed and can be delivered. Any delay in the production and/or printing that is not unreasonable, shall not be sufficient cause for the customer to cancel the order and demand a refund.

In the event that we have manufactured a board or printed a board that does not accord with the instructions given to us by a customer, in writing and signed, we may rectify the error at our cost or refund the purchase price, at our discretion.

Product Images

Images are not always representative of the product. Certain images may contain ancillary items which are not included with the particular item described and are for presentation purposes only or to demonstrate usage. The Whiteboard Shop is not bound to supply products as per the image but will supply products as per written description.

The Whiteboard Shop cannot be held liable for any impression which an image gives to a customer as to the product description or components. If the customer is in any doubt as to the components of any item, we suggest that the customer seek clarity before making a purchase. In the event that a customer makes a purchase based on their error due to an image, the Whiteboard Shop will gladly refund the customer and take return of the product, if it is still in its original packaging and condition, subject to a 10% handling fee.

Cleaning Instructions

Please note that Whiteboard Shop cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any damage to a whiteboard, whiteboard vinyl or whiteboard paint as a result of the buyer not adhering to the correct cleaning procedure which can be downloaded by clicking here. Incorrect cleaning procedure or use of any abrasive material or cleaning agent/detergent will void any warranty on the product surface. Use only Parrot Products cleaning fluid and no other detergent or cleaning agent.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the buyer acknowledges that they have read and understood the cleaning instructions.

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. Delivery Policy

Delivery terms and conditions are as below, read with the cost breakdown at the following link, which terms are specifically included in these terms and conditions in full. Please read them: Free Delivery.

Delivery of Parrot Products is only made on the next day if it falls within the major centres below and the order is placed and paid for (including notification to us when payment is made by EFT) before 14h00. Otherwise, delivery of Parrot Products will be in 48 hours. Deliveries are only made on standard working days, Monday to Friday and excluding all public holidays.

Delivery of all other brands will be made as stipulated on each product description, but typically within 3-7 working days of payment being received.

Shipping

We ship nationally.

Shipping to major cities: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Johannesburg, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and Pretoria.

Shipping within major cities is free for orders over R750, except for those products where stipulated otherwise in the product description. All other delivery areas are shipped as  "outlying areas" and may be subject to further surcharges, however we do cover most towns and cities within our major cities policy as a courtesy. Please contact our office for more information or to establish whether your area is covered by free shipping.

Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our or our agent's premises.

Undeliverable packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place we will advise you to collect your products from our offices.

Order processing

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment reflects in our account. We may elect at our discretion, but are under no obligation, to ship upon receipt of email or other proof of payment.

Warranties

Warranties on Epson products are void unless registered at www.epsonwarranty.co.za. Warranties on Epson products are subject to all terms and conditions at www.epsonwarranty.co.za.

Moneyback/Refunds/Returns Policy

In the unlikely event that any product is delivered damaged, we will gladly replace it at our cost or refund you in full. We must be notified within 7 days of delivery in order for the moneyback guarantee or refund to apply. To qualify for a full refund, the damaged product must be in its original packaging, and we do reserve the right to apply up to a 10% handling fee at our discretion. Any other return is subject to a 15% handling fee for returns for whatever other reason, which we may waive entirely in our discretion.

We also accept returns of goods purchased incorrectly, such as where a customer orders the incorrect size or type of product, or when the customer changes their mind on a purchase, but the customer will still be liable for any transport cost incurred to effect delivery and only the actual product value will be refunded, less any costs we expend to retrieve the product from the customer, a 15% handling fee and any bank charges or merchant fees charged to the supplier to process the customer's payment. We will only accept return of an item incorrectly purchased if it is in its original, sealed packaging.

International customers will be entirely liable for shipping costs, customs, excise or other duties payable and goods will be despatched ex warehouse. All risk in and to the goods passes to those customers when the goods leave our premises.

Payment Options and Pricing

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR) at prevailing interest rates. The Whiteboard Shop endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges (on the day of shipping).

We pride ourselves on the quality of the products we supplly and the convenience provided to our customers.

The Whiteboard Shop reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice due to the nature of our products. Should The Whiteboard Shop reduce its price on any shipped products within 10 working days of shipment, you may contact us and request a refund of the difference between the price you were charged and the reduced selling price. 

"Let us beat your quote"

This offer applies only to the Parrot Products range. The quote must be supplied to us by email and must be a formal quote reflecting the quoting company's full details, the full details of the party applying for the quote to be beaten, the quote must have been created within the preceding 7 ordinary days and must still be valid for at least another 10 working days after being supplied to The Whiteboard Shop. We will not quote against pricing referenced or supplied on any seller's website without a formal quote being supplied. Any quote that a potential customer supplies to us for the purpose of beating, must be supplied to us by a bona fide and registered supplier of Parrot Products for new goods only and for total value of at least R1500 incl VAT. The quote supplied by The Whiteboard Shop will still be subject to all other standard terms and conditions of sale, including additional delivery or other charges and will only be valid for 7 ordinary days regardless of any other indications or guarantees of the quote validity period elsewhere provided. We are not able to guarantee that we will beat any quote supplied but undertake to be as competitive as possible. 

We will not quote against reseller pricing supplied by Parrot Products, but we will quote against retail pricing.

Discounts and Promotions

Any promotional discount cannot be combined with an existing discount, special or promotion in our store. Where a product is already on promotion or sold at a reduced/discounted price, discount coupons are not valid for purchasing those products.

Accounts

In any instance where credit is granted to a purchaser by Hopp Schwiiz Online, interest will accrue on any and all overdue amounts at 3.5% per month from due date until date of actual payment in full. Should the purchaser default on any payment, the full amount will immediately become due and payable regardless of agreed due date.

No relaxation or indulgence granted by Hopp Schwiiz Online in respect of any payment due, including acceptance of late payments, will be deemed to be a waiver of any of its rights to payment of interest or any other claim or right arising as a result of a sale.

Credit Card or EFT

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order. All of your order details will be saved online in the “Your Account” section available for use whenever you’re ready! 

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) is one of the most widely used ways of transferring money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. Select the option to pay via EFT. You will then have to load The Whiteboard Shop as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. This should ensure speedy processing and delivery of your selected products.

Payfast process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted.

The company registration documents (we are owned and operated by Hopp Schwiiz Online (Pty) Ltd and the site’s registered domain name are checked and verified by Payfast to assure the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate Payfast to obtain confidential information.

Payfast is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Payfast Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website). Law The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates.

The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.

Consent (by the person making the purchase on the website)

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to The Whiteboard Shop and accept these terms and conditions.

I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof.

Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by The Whiteboard Shop for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
